ICCO Alliance
Current ICCO Alliance expanded
On 1 December 2009, the ICCO Alliance submitted its subsidy application to the Netherlands Minister of Development Cooperation in conjunction with two new members. The Zeister Zendingsgenootschap and Yente reinforce the ICCO Alliance comprising Edukans, Kerk in Actie, Oikocredit, Prisma, SharePeople and ICCO.
The Alliance, created in 2006, has requested the maximum amount of 106 million euros per year for the period 2011-2015.
ICCO Alliance
Understandably, ICCO cannot fulfil its mission of combating poverty on its own. Joint ventures with various partners are required.
Since 2007 the ICCO Alliance, Edukans, Kerk in Actie, Oikocredit, Prisma, Share People and ICCO have joined forces. In future years, these organisations will strive to deepen their partnership and create synergies.
These six organisations share a similar identity and a highly committed constituency in the Netherlands. They bring together years of experience and a diversity of relations and partners in developing countries. This allows the alliance to work more effectively and efficiently, to run a comprehensive programme in developing countries, and undertake lobby, advocacy and funding activities.
