Financing
ICCO finances organisations in developing countries
ICCO's main instrument is the funding of development projects and programmes in developing countries. A substantial part of our funding budget derives from the Dutch government (Co-financing Progamme).
We provide financial support to projects that contribute to one of our three main themes, which ICCO believes will help structurally improve the conditions that people in developing countries find themselves in.
ICCO has drawn up a number of criteria for funding applications.
Loans and guarantees
ICCO has developed a special programme on loans and guarantees for organisations in developing countries. One example is the provision of microcredits.
Private initiatives in the Netherlands
ICCO also gives financial support to private initiatives in the Netherlands via Impulsis.
